Burnish Compound 91 is a mildly alkaline liquid product developed for use in any of the
following mass finishing systems such as rotary barrel, centrifugal barrel, or vibratory
finishing mills.
It may be used with any media to burnish and de–bur stainless steel, steel, cast irons,
aluminum alloys, brass/bronze alloys, copper, nickel–silver, zinc die castings, and slush
metal.
Burnish Compound 91 was developed to provide long life, lubricity, color control, and
cushion when operated over long time cycles (up to or greater than one hour). The buffered
pH of 9.0 to 9.5 will provide necessary corrosion protection during long runs in rotary
barrels or when subjected to the high centrifugal force in a centrifugal barrel operation.
