Removing chrome, cutting costs in wastewater treatment nets a hole in one

Chromium has many industrial and decorative uses, but it can be a big problem in wastewater. Southern Metal Processing (SMP) faced new, stricter discharge limits and resorted to 24/7 operations and daily off-site testing, incurring significant costs. When SMP sought help from Hubbard-Hall, it was struggling to meet these new requirements.
Hubbard-Hall’s Industrial Wastewater Treatment Specialist conducted on-site analysis and identified critical factors previously overlooked. They recommended a chemical regimen including AquaPure HQ, AquaPure T-500, and AquaPure I-300. These products effectively removed chrome and other heavy metals from the wastewater.
