A New Driving Force
Three changes to Hubbard-Hall’s Executive Team
2015 has started with a bang at Hubbard-Hall as the company saw the launch of a reorganization at the top, 3 months after it was announced.
Be warned – there are a lot of firsts in this first paragraph. The first management change involved Molly Kellogg, who became President/CEO of Hubbard-Hall. With 21 years at the company, she is the 1st female to lead Hubbard-Hall in its 165-year history. She will lead the Sales, Business Development, HR and Technical teams, working close with Gerry Mastropietro who assumed the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.
As COO/Executive Vice President, Gerry is responsible for company’s operations at all three locations, as well as EHS&S, purchasing and customer service. Gerry is a long time veteran of Hubbard-Hall, and was promoted from a role of Senior Vice President, Sales.
Finally, the Board of Directors also added the designation “Senior” to the title of Vice President/Technical Director, Bob Farrell. As SVP of the technical team, Bob directs the company’s R & D and technical service groups. He has been at Hubbard-Hall since 1991 when the company acquired the assets of Mitchell Bradford, a leading supplier of Black Magic, conversion coatings and other chemical specialties.
“It’s an honor to be leading the company in its 166th year,” said Kellogg, “and particularly exciting to be working with such a talented team – from the loading dock to the lab. We are executing a strategy of bringing expertise to the floor of our customers’ plants and using a Lean approach to bring efficiency and savings to industrial manufacturers.”
