A Friendly Visit from the Fire Department
From November 29th through Dec 2nd, the Waterbury Fire Department visited the Hubbard-Hall facility. The planned visit, organized by Enviornmental Regulations Manager Jack Paul, was to familiarize the Fire Department with all of the chemicals and manufacturing operations at Hubbard-Hall in case there is ever an emergency situation. General information about the chemicals, the hazards associated with them and emergency response scenarios were discussed. The sprinkler systems and exhaust ventilation were also addressed.
The visit concluded with a tour of Hubbard-Hall’s warehouse and tank farm. Overall the visit was very successful and the fire department appreciated the tour and discussions.
