A Fellow of the Institute of Materials Finishing
Robert Gardner, Hubbard-Hall’s International Sales Director, was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Materials Finishing in April of this year. Robert, who works out of Birmingham, United Kingdom, has 20 years of International Sales experience and 30 years of experience in all aspects of Metal Finishing.
The Institute of Materials Finishing, founded in 1925, mission statement is:
“To provide a focus for Surface Engineering and Finishing activities worldwide through the fulfillment of the technical, educational and professional needs at all levels for both the individuals and companies involved in the coatings industry.”
Candidates for a Fellow election must have a high level of competence in surface technology and have made a significant contribution to the science and practice of surface finishing, or have established a reputation as a manager who is ultimately responsible for the decisions of professional members.
Robert focuses on international industrial sectors like power generation (both battery and turbine), automotive, aerospace and domestic appliances. His goal is to supply a global standard for metal finishing, in terms of quality, service and delivery via our evolving distribution network.

Independent recognition benefits the industry significantly, helping engineers to identify and have confidence in specialist support.”
