Metal Guard 520 is the culmination of several months of intense research to develop a “dry–
to–touch” water displacing thin film rust preventive that when applied as the final sealant to
black oxide coatings will result in exceptional corrosion resistance in the range of 100–150
hours per ASTM B–117 specifications. Metal Guard 520 can be applied to aluminum, steel,
stainless steel or copper alloy substrates by spray, immersion, brushing or flood coating.
