Quick Pik 1 is a combination of dry, free-flowing acids used as a water solution at temperatures ranging from ambient to 180 degrees F. The higher temperatures are generally required where rust is a problem. Quick Pik 1 is a convenient substitute for the more difficult- to-handle liquid acids. At ambient temperatures, venting will not be necessary.
Quick Pik 1 is not as harsh in its action on metal surfaces as are the common mineral acids. It may be used to remove oxides and to activate steel, stainless steel, zinc plate and zinc die castings as well as copper and its alloys. It is used prior to all types of finishing operations.
