‘Tis the Season to Give Back

As the holiday season is about giving, I want to highlight the extraordinary generosity of the Hubbard-Hall Team in 2019:
  •  Top 10 Contributor of the United Way for twelve years in a row
  • 17 children this holiday season had multiple holiday wishes granted; done in coordination with the Salvation Army (Waterbury, CT) and the Department of Social Services (Inman, SC)
  • 581 children in Africa receive clean drinking water because of our partnership with LifeStraw
  • 22 turkeys were donated to the CT Food Bank
  • 40 backpacks full of school supplies and books were provided to local preschoolers
  • $2,500 to co-sponsor the Children’s Community School Science Fair and lab
  • $300 in supplies for the Children’s Community School 6th grade science class
  • And the resource that can’t be measured – their time. Our employees give back by participating in events like You be the Chemist and STEM Fairs or countless other acts of kindness like reading to children and donating to local food pantries.
And finally, in memory of Charles T. Kellogg:
“If you wish to remember me, do it with a kind word or deed to someone who needs it.” R. Test.Wishing you a happy and health holiday season,
Molly
