Hearst Media Services Names Hubbard-Hall A Winner of the Fairfield, New Haven & Litchfield County Top Workplaces 2021 Award

Hubbard-Hall has been awarded the Top Workplaces 2021 honor by Hearst Connecticut. The award is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection. This is the 6th time the organization has received this honor.

“During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and their business.”

Hubbard-Hall’s roots go back to 1849 when Apothecary’s Hall, a neighborhood store which sold paints, fertilizers and sundries opened its doors in Waterbury, CT.  Today, the company is a progressive and reliable partner to over 2,300 companies across industries from military applications to medical devices, aerospace and automotive, and hand tools to high tech connectors.  With experts based out of three locations (Waterbury, CT; Inman, SC and Wilmington, MA) the organization is poised to help manufacturers in the areas of cleaning (aqueous or solvent), metal finishing and wastewater treatment.

“As an evergreen business with an eye to the next generation, I believe that creating a great workplace for our team members is the priority.  I want people who work at Hubbard-Hall to be better for having worked here, to be better versions of themselves every year, and to bring that spirit outside the walls of our company and make their communities better as well.” said Molly Kellogg, CEO & Chairman.
