Description: Join us for the following presentations: Wednesday, October 11th 8:40 a.m. - 9:25 a.m. Using Less Chemistry Presented by: Molly Kellogg, President/CEO, Hubbard-Hall As CEO of a 6th generation family business that sells chemicals, my NorthStar is to be an evergreen business: keep it in the family and be the chemical company that helps manufacturers use less chemistry. Crazy? Perhaps. My very non-technical keynote covers the imperative to reduce industry’s reliance on non-renewable resources, which is connected to my 3 lessons of leadership and my atheistic vision of Hell. Wednesday, October 11th 3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Advances in Technology to Reduce Chemical Costs for Industrial Anodizing Presented by: Mike Valenti, Hubbard-Hall Industrial anodizing requires many process steps and different chemical formulation, to obtain the desired finish. In this session we will review advances in technology, including new chemistries, mitigation equipment, analytics, and process design, that can reduce the total chemical consumption, and the resulting waste cost.
