Last month we shared the news of our trip to the National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF) SUR/FIN conference. During the show, our Senior Technical Service Engineer, Mike Valenti, had a chat with Industrial Equipment News (IEN) executive editor Anna Wells on the showroom floor.

David Joyce has been an Aquapure Technical Service Representative with Hubbard-Hall for the past 5 years. Previous to working with Hubbard-Hall, David was the Finishing and Waste Treatment Environmental Manager at a lighting manufacturer for 28 years. He was responsible for environmental compliance, manufacturing/production,plating, paint/lacquer, polishing and wastewater treatment departments. Purchasing Manager Sam Blanchard retired last month, after an impressive 33 years of service to Hubbard-Hall. Sam was both a valuable asset to our company and an enjoyable presence in the office. We are indebted to her for her dedication and her vision for propelling our purchasing department to its present state of strength and efficiency.
As July comes to a close, we have borrowed a tradition from Major League Baseball; filling important positions for sustainable growth. Joining our team we added a Sales Representative based in North Carolina and Virginia, a Tank Farm Scheduler and an Accounts Payable Representative who are both located in our Waterbury, CT headquarters. Each spring Hubbard-Hall attends the NACD Washington Fly In where chemical distributors and their supply chain partners meet with their elected officials in Washington, DC. Molly Kellogg said, “The fly in is a chance for the chemical distribution industry to share our perspective on legislative issues before Congress.
