Industrial Metal Cleaning for Steel Alloys

Alkaline and Neutral

Alkaline and neutral formulations are best suited for oil and grease removal. Hubbard-Hall offers both liquid and powdered formulations that can be matched to the substrate and soil being cleaned.

Steel Cleaning: Soak/Ultrasonic for Alkaline and Neutral

Aquaease™ S 986 A heavy duty, powdered alkaline aqueous soak cleaner for ferrous metals, copper and brass alloys. Aquaease™ S 986 may be used in rack or barrel lines for cleaning metals soiled with: buffing and polishing compounds (steel only), drawing compounds, stamping oils, water base forming lubricants, machinery lubricants, etc.
Aquaease™ SL 80 A liquid, moderately alkaline, phosphate and chelator-free aqueous soak cleaner, for non-ferrous metals and ferrous metals. Excellent for removing chlorinated and sulfurized oils from most metals.
Aquaease™ SL 917 A heavy duty highly alkaline liquid cleaner which may be used as an immersion or spray cleaner for cleaning ferrous metals, copper, brass alloys, magnesium and titanium alloys. Aquaease™ SL 917 was formulated to remove a variety of forming lubricant and carbonaceous type soils from ferrous metals.
Lusterclean™ 40 LF Mildly alkaline, low foam, water soluble, liquid aqueous cleaner for cleaning ferrous metals, copper, brass alloys, stainless steels, aluminum, nickel coated stock and nickel alloys in either soak cleaning, agi-dip soak operations, or spiral washer. Excellent for particulate and smut removing when using ultrasonic cleaning equipment.

Soak/Ultrasonic (acid)

Acid cleaners are primarily liquid inorganic and/or organic acids in combination with ynthetic detergents and corrosion inhibitors. Many contain sequestering/chelating agents to facilitate scale and oxide removal.

Steel Cleaning: Soak/Ultrasonic for Acid

Mi-Clean™ 24 A high-strength, liquid phosphoric acid cleaner concentrate composed of a blend of acid, solvent, surfactants and chelators designed to accomplish in one step, the cleaning and preparation of a variety of metal surfaces prior to blackening, phosphating and chromating.
