Desmutters
Designed to deoxidize and desmut surfaces after cleaning and/or etching, Hubbard-Hall's desmutters are available as powder and/or liquid concentrates. They are primarily used on aluminum and titanium alloys, but they also find uses with stainless steel and other metal surfaces.

Deoxidizer 13L is an acidic, non-chromated, water soluble liquid product for deoxidizing-desmutting wrought aluminum alloys and cast alloys with a low silicon content (less than 1%). |

| Descaler D |
Descaler D is a rapid acting, fluoride type dry acid flake additive used to replace hazardous hydrofluoric acid pickling operations (stainless steel and titanium alloys). It is suited for desmutting wrought and cast aluminum alloys. Furthermore, Descaler D may be used to produce a frosty-white etch on aluminum castings. |
