Director of Corporate Procurement
Hubbard-Hall Inc., one of the nation’s most experienced suppliers of surface treatment and specialty chemicals, has an immediate opening for an experienced purchasing professional.
This person will direct and coordinate the corporate purchasing function and supervise department personnel at the Waterbury, CT headquarters. Hubbard-Hall is unique in the chemical distribution and custom formulating fields, where our experience and expertise provide sustainable solutions for our customer’s surface finishing requirements. The right candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and possess 7 to 10 years of procurement in the industrial chemical or surface finishing arena.
To join our team you must demonstrate these skills and capabilities: • A solid background in negotiating and experience with the dynamic fluctuations of commodity chemicals. • An ability to communicate with and work easily with others. • Good intuition, exploration and problem solving abilities. • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills as well as the ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including, Word and Excel. Additional experience with inventory control and MRP software is preferred.
Essential Functions include: • Develop annual purchasing forecast by vendor and product line. • Accountable for corporate purchases of resale products, raw materials, and suppliers and services in accordance with specified requirements and approved sources. • Negotiates with vendors as necessary before agreeing to a contract or purchase order. Secures the most favorable prices consistent with overall considerations of quality, quantity, delivery date, special services, and past performance of vendors. • Interact with senior management to coordinate market intelligence and provide recommendations to enhance sales and profitability performance • Monitors markets to stay abreast of prices and availability; studies and evaluates producers to insure their ability to supply • Analyzes and evaluates materials, parts, supplies or services to be purchased, considering delivery, quantity and quality

Hubbard-Hall Inc., one of the nation’s most experienced suppliers of surface treatment and waste treatment chemicals, has immediate openings for experienced technical sales representatives in the Alabama and Texas territories.
These positions will focus on growing proprietary product sales within the regions described. The right candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or a 5 year proven track record in outside sales Requirements. To join our team you must demonstrate these skills and capabilities:

Manufacturer's Representatives
Hubbard-Hall is in search of chemical sales representatives interested in serving as a 100 percent commission paid independent manufacturer’s representative in select areas within the United States. Locations for immediate consideration include Colorado, Arizona, North Dakota, South Dakota and some metropolitan locations. The qualified candidate would possess industrial sales experience for products related to durable goods manufacturing. Targeted sales will be related to solvent and water-based cleaners, corrosion inhibitors, mass finishing and related chemistries. Sales of these categories will be supplemented by extensive marketing efforts of Aquaease™, Metal Guard®, Hubtron and other product trade names. Hubbard Hall’s technical staff would be available to assist in the sales cycle, provide testing results and on-site assistance.
